Betty F. Reymer was born February 14, 1928 in Anthony, Kansas, daughter of Frank Arthur and Emma Lily (Ready) Croft.
Betty attended school at Anthony High School and was an active member of the Anthony Christian Church.
On May 12, 1945, Betty was united in marriage with Joseph D. "Blondie" Reymer in Anthony, Kansas where they made their home. This union was blessed with three children: Joe, Judy and Gary.
Betty was a dedicated mother and homemaker. Her career path included attaining her certification as a Nurse's Aide and later working for Cook's Processing Plant where she eventually retired from.
Betty was a strong and independent family woman. She always enjoyed cooking, holidays, family time, special events and camping with her kids and grandkids. She had a love for dancing and traveled around with her husband, Blondie, dancing across the state to the "jitter-bug," as they followed their friends' band tour, "Rebel Rousers." She had a love for everyone and especially her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved the sound of laughter in her home! All the family, kids and friends would fill the house for one of her amazing home-cooked meals such as her World Famous pan fried chicken, meatloaf, roast or chicken and noodles. Something everyone remembers!! Betty provided comfort and home-cooked meals for so many friends of her children and family because her door and arms were always open.
