Donald “Don” Heidrick 1944~2020

   Donald “Don” Franklin Heidrick, loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend, went to be with the Lord on September 11th, 2020, at Hilltop Lodge in Beloit, Kansas.
   He was born the son of Edward J. and Inez M. (Donovan) Heidrick, on June 22, 1944 in Beloit.  He graduated from St. John High School in Beloit and then graduated from Kansas State University.  

Joseph D. Barnett 1987 ~ 2020

Joseph Daniel Barnett was born March 27, 1987 in Wichita, Kansas.  From the age of 5 he loved playing football and wrestling.  He graduated Salutatorian from Haysville High School with the Class of 2005.  
    On August 28, 2010, Joe was united in marriage with Michelle Witters.  They made their home in Wichita, Kansas.  On October 17, 2012 they were blessed with their first son, Joseph Jaxon.  On March 17, 2015 they welcomed home twins: Brody Lee and Brady Zane.  

Fern A. Kircher 1927 ~ 2020

    Fern was born August 8, 1927 in Atlanta, Kansas, the 7th of 8 children born to Elliot Newton Stites and Stella (Fry) Stites.  Her family moved several times during her early childhood before settling in Hazelton, Kansas where Fern graduated high school with the Class of 1945.  
    On April 6, 1946, Fern was united in marriage with Jimmy Swartz in Hazelton, Kansas.  This union was blessed with three children:  Kent, Keela and Vicki.

Kenney E. Caviness 1944 ~ 2020

    Kenney Eugene Caviness was born April 23, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas, son of Floyd and Maxine (Hunter) Caviness.  He was one of three sons and had a special bond with both of his brothers.  He grew up in Wichita and attended Arkansas Avenue Grade School.  
    Kenney made a career of Janitorial work, working for many schools and businesses throughout the years.  While working at Cessna Wallace, Kenney met Betty Brewer.  They quickly fell in love and were married in 1988.  They worked side by side for many years, lastly at Wellington High School, before retiring in 2003.  

Diana Kay (Benson) Gibbons 1949 ~ 2020

    Diana Kay Benson was born May 22, 1949 to Jake and Leola Benson in Anthony, KS, the fourth of six children.  She passed away August 23, 2020.  Diana was raised on a farm southwest of Manchester, OK where she attended Manchester school grades 1-8, and Rosedale Church of Christ. She went to Wakita High school where she graduated in 1967 and then attended Oklahoma School of Banking and Business.  As a freshman in high school, she met a sophomore named Chris Gibbons.  They became good friends and then dated and then married on Sept. 7, 1968 in the Wakita Christian Church.

Mary Woods Fulcher 1934 ~ 2020

   Mary Woods Fulcher, 86, of Harper, Kansas passed away on August 19, 2020.  She was born to the late James and Mildred (Bolt) Wallace in Harper on March 24, 1934.  Mary moved with her family to Clovis, NM, where she graduated, with honors, from Clovis High School.  She met and married a young Korean War veteran, Edwin Woods, and began a life of travel and adventure as a military spouse in the United States Air Force.  For the next 30 years, she lived all over the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Iran, moving every 3 years, many times more often.  That love of travel defined M

DeLores "Dee" LaPlant 1936 ~ 2020

DeLores Maurine "Dee" LaPlant was born May 31, 1936 in Anthony, Kansas, daughter of Harold Dale Wilson and Mildred Beatrice (Johnson) Wilson.  She attended school in Anthony.  
    On her 18th birthday, May 31, 1954, Dee married James Leo LaPlant in Las Vegas, Nevada, which was close to the town they were living in.  This union was blessed with four children: an infant son who was stillborn, Janise, Mary Jo, and Jimmy.  They were one and a half months shy of celebrating 65 years of marriage when Jim passed away in 2019.
