Richard A. Kastens

Richard Allen Kastens age 88 of Burnsville, MN passed away on March 27, 2025. Richard was born on August 23, 1936 in Anthony, Kansas to Elmar and Mary Pauline Kastens. He served in the US Navy. Richard was a truck driver for many years with Target before his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Virgil Horning. He survived by his loving wife of 65 years Lila; sons, Curtis (Farideh) Kastens and Greg (Maria) Kastens; and their daughter, Cheyenne (Andre) Kastens; siblings, Carl (Rita), Gary ‘Mac’ (Beverly), and Sam (Marla) Kastens, and Karen Horning; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday April 4, 2025 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Savage, MN with a visitation starting at 9:30 AM. Interment, church cemetery.
