Jerry Dee Shaddox, 68, passed away peacefully at his home in Attica, Ks on May 16, 2026. Jerry was born March 29,1958, in Kingman, Ks the son of Gerald and Shirley (Mease) Shaddox.
Jerry was a graduate of Medicine Lodge High School class of 1976. He spent much of his life in Attica, where he worked as an oil rig operator for Shawnee Well Service. He was known for his strong work ethic, his love for the outdoors, and the joy he found in fishing, camping, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
Jerry was united in marriage to Leisa Little on May 20, 1999. Leisa brought to this union three daughters, Amber, Heather, and Tisha. Jerry brought a son, Justin, and two daughters, Shaena and Brandi. Together, Jerry and Leisa, were blessed with two sons, Jeremy and Blake.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Shaddox, and his son, Jeremy Shaddox. He is survived by his wife, Leisa Shaddox; his mother, Shirley Shaddox; his children, Justin Shaddox, Shaena Baker, Brandi (Dylan) Neal, Amber (James) Sciara, Heather (Ryan) Miller, Tisha Prescott, and Blake Shaddox; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his sisters, Sherry Armstrong, Deann Young, and Tami Leitch; along with many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2026, at Prairie Rose Funeral Home in Anthony with Jason Fahring officiating.
